Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Z Flip3, and Z Fold3 are only getting Circle to Search and Chat Assist features

Samsung brought One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI features with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year, later it expanded the features to Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series.

Last month it announced the features are coming to Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4 and Tab S8 series in early May. Now the company started rolling out the features to the Galaxy S22 series, and other devices in the U.S.

Samsung also announced that the Galaxy S21 series won’t get all the Galaxy AI features such as Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit and other features that are available for the S24, S23 and the S22 series, and will get only the Circle to Search with Google and Chat Assist features.

Circle to Search with Google streamlines internet interaction with a simple and intuitive gesture, enhancing user productivity. Chat Assist can translate messages into 13 languages.

Samsung said that these features will roll out via an update, which has started for the Galaxy S21 series in the Europe, so we can expect these devices to get an update soon globally adding the features.

Regarding this, Samsung US, said:

The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip3, and Galaxy Z Fold3 users will have access to Circle to Search with Google and Chat Assist features with the latest software update.
