Bharti Airtel and Google Cloud have announced a new partnership aimed at helping Indian businesses with cloud solutions.
This collaboration aims to provide cutting-edge cloud solutions from Google Cloud to Airtel’s customers, facilitating faster cloud adoption and modernization. These include:
Cloud Solutions for Businesses: Airtel will offer a range of cloud managed services to its customer base, which includes over 2,000 large enterprises and one million emerging businesses.
This move comes in response to the growing demand for cloud services in India, with the market expected to reach $17.8 billion by 2027, according to IDC.
AI/ML Solutions: Leveraging their respective strengths in connectivity and AI technology, the two companies will develop industry-leading AI/ML solutions.
These solutions will be trained on Airtel’s extensive data set and will include geospatial analytics for trend-spotting, predictive capabilities, voice analytics for conversational applications across languages, and marketing technology solutions for consumer behavior forecasting and tailored audience segmentations.
IoT Solution for Utilities: Airtel has also introduced an end-to-end IoT solution tailored for the utility sector. This solution integrates connectivity, Google Cloud services, and application software to enable seamless and faster deployment.
To support its cloud-based solutions, Airtel has established a managed services center in Pune with over 300 experts trained to champion Google Cloud services and develop tech solutions.
Additionally, Airtel will utilize Google Cloud’s AI capabilities to enhance customer experiences across its mobile, broadband, and digital TV offerings, as well as streamline internal processes. These enhancements will be extended to Airtel’s B2B customers in India and globally.
