HMD Global has introduced a new rebranded XR21 smartphone, which was originally introduced under the Nokia branding last year. This rugged phone is assembled in Europe, similar to the XR21 5G Limited Edition which was introduced a few months back.
Other specifications are similar to the original XR21, including a 6.49-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, dust and waterproof (IP68 ratings) body, MIL-STD-810H durability, 64MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera and a 4800mAh with 33W fast charging. However, this runs Android 13 out of the box, and will get 2 years of OS upgrades.
The HMD T21 has a new camera design compared to Nokia T21, which was introduced back in 2022. It retains the 10.36-inch 2K LCD screen, UNISOC T612 Octa-Core processor, 4G support, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 8MP front and rear cameras, IP52 ratings for dust and splash resistance, and a 8200 mAh battery with support for 15W charging.
Similar to the phone, this also runs Android 13 with a promise of 2 years of OS updates.
