Along with the Xperia 1 VI, Sony also introduced the Xperia 10 VI, the company’s mid-range 5G smartphone. It has the same 6.1-inch 21:9 Wide Full HD+ OLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz Touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, but the Snapdragon 695 SoC is replaced by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
The phone has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 14. It retains the 48MP (main) camera with Exmor RS sensor for mobile, 8MP (ultra-wide) and an 8MP front camera from the predecessor, but the telephoto camera has been removed.
It weighs just 164 grams even though it packs a 5,000mAh battery. The back panel uses a matte, milky-white semi-transparent resin material, giving the main body a soft design, the phone has IP65 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance and has front stereo speakers. The new “Video Creator” app allows you to easily edit and shoot content to create videos quickly, said the company.

The Sony Xperia 10 VI comes in Black, White and Blue colours and is priced at 399 Euros (USD 432 / Rs. 36,075 approx.) / 349 GBP (USD 440 / Rs. 36,735 approx.). The phone is now available to order and will roll out in Europe and the UK starting from June 10th.
