After teasers, vivo has confirmed the launch of Y200 Pro 5G, the company’s next mid-range 5G smartphone in India on May 21st.
The teaser shows a curved screen. Since the vivo Y200 which was launched last year featured an 120Hz AMOLED screen, we can expect the same for the Y200 Pro. It also shows dual rear cameras and the phone in green colour with patterns on the back.
vivo has confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, compared to Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 in the Y200. The teaser also mentions that the phone will feature the slimmest 3D curved display in the segment at just 7.49mm.
The design of the phone resembles the vivo Y29 Lite which also has a curved screen and Snapdragon 695 SoC, but the Y200 has dual rear cameras instead of triple rear cameras in the Y29 Lite.
vivo also hints at Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 price range for the phone. To remind you, the vivo Y200 5G was launched at Rs. 21,999 in India. We should know more details about the phone in the coming days, before it goes official next week.
