motorola is gearing up for its next lineup of foldable smartphones, including the motorola razr 50 and razr 50 Ultra. Thanks to @evleaks, detailed renders of the foldables have surfaced online along with key specifications.

The motorola razr 50, the entry-level model of the lineup, gets a huge upgrade in terms of design. Unlike its predecessor, the razr 40, which only had a 1.5″ outer display, this has a large 3.63” pOLED screen. Display bezels are symmetric, have curved edges around the body, and should come with a leather finish at the back, giving a premium look and finish.
It is said to feature a large 6.9″ pOLED when unfolded with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a dual rear camera embedded on the screen, featuring a 50MP main shooter and a 13MP secondary lens. There’ll be a 13MP front camera inside a center punch hole.
The razr 50, which might also be called as moto razr 2024 in the US, should be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G SoC, Android 14 OS, feature 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 4200mAh battery, and weigh only 188g.
It is expected to be priced at EUR 899 (USD 979 / Rs. 81,591 approx.)

The motorola razr 50 Ultra, on the other hand, features a similar design to razr 50, but has a slightly larger 4″ pOLED outer display. It should come in green, peach, and blue colors with a leather finish and curved edges around the corners.
It will feature a 6.9″ inner display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels, the same as razr 50, but with a higher refresh rate of 165Hz. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, it will offer 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will have a dual-camera setup with 50MP wide-angle and 50MP 2x telephoto lenses, along with a 32MP front camera.
The device will feature a 4000mAh battery, USB-C wired charging, wireless charging, eSIM support, IPX8 water resistance, fingerprint reader, and facial recognition. It will run on Android 14 with Hello UI, boasting AI-powered photo/video capture and editing tools.
In terms of pricing, the razr 50 Ultra (razr+ 2024) is expected to be available in the U.S. for USD 999 (Rs. 83,215 approx.) and in Europe for EUR 1200 (USD 1,307 / Rs. 1,08,909 approx.) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Both smartphones are expected to be released in June globally.
