CMF Phone (1) specs, pricing surface, could launch in July

CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, is set to launch its first smartphone, the CMF Phone (1), in India. This device is anticipated to be a more affordable version of the Nothing Phone (2a). According to tipster MlgmXyysd, the CMF Phone (1) will share many specifications with the Phone (2a).

The phone is expected to sport a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display. It will have a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 16MP front-facing camera, with no details about the secondary rear camera.

Under the hood, the CMF Phone (1) will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, similar to the one in the Nothing Phone (2a). It will have a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, compared to the 45W charging support in the Phone (2a).

It will offer 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the possibility to expand memory via a MicroSD card. The CMF Phone (1) will run on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6 and include connectivity options like Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6.

The tipster noted that one notable design aspect is the absence of the Glyph interface, a unique feature of Nothing phones. Instead, the CMF Phone (1) will have a replaceable plastic back cover and a Nothing Lock for exclusive add-ons.
