Samsung Electronics today introduced the Galaxy Book4 Edge, a new generation of AI-powered PCs.
The Galaxy Book4 Edge is the first Copilot+ PC from Samsung and comes in two sizes: 14 inches and 16 inches. The Galaxy Book4 Edge has a sleek, premium design made from recycled materials like plastics, glass, and aluminum.
Galaxy Book4 Edge (14-inch)
The 14-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge is powered by a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite processor running at 3.4GHz, with a 4.0GHz Dual Core Boost. It comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, which can be expanded up to 1TB.
Its 14-inch AMOLED touchscreen display offers 3K resolution (2880 x 1800) at 120Hz, HDR, VRR, and 120% of the P3 color gamut, reaching up to 500 nits of brightness.
Connectivity options include two USB 4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a combo audio jack. The device weighs 1.17kg and is 10.9mm thick.
Galaxy Book4 Edge (16-inch)
The 16-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge is available in two versions. One version has a high-end Snapdragon X Elite processor with a boost up to 4.2GHz and 1TB of storage. The other version has the same processor as the 14-inch model and 512GB of storage.
Both 16-inch models share the same display specifications as the 14-inch model but are larger. Additional ports include a USB 3.2 Type-A and a microSD card slot. Both models weigh 1.55kg and are 12.3mm thick.
Both sizes come with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU and a battery of either 55.9Wh or 61.8Wh, accompanied by a 65W USB-C adapter. Other features include a 2MP (1080p FHD) camera, dual microphones, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, and a Pro Keyboard.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, and the laptop runs on Windows 11 Home. It includes Samsung Knox security and Microsoft Secured-core PC out of the box, along with Copilot+ features such as Recall, Live Captions, and Cocreator, as well as select Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge comes in Sapphire Blue and will be available starting June 18, 2024. The pricing is as follows:
- 16-inch model with 1TB storage and a 3.8GHz (Boost: 4.2GHz) X1E-84-100 processor starting at USD 1,749.99 (Rs. 1,45,800 approx.).
- 16-inch model with a 3.4GHz (Boost: 4.0GHz) X1E-80-100 processor starting at USD 1,449.99 (Rs. 1,20,805 approx.).
- 14-inch model with a 3.4GHz (Boost: 4.0GHz) X1E-80-100 processor starting at USD 1,349.99 (Rs. 1,12,475 approx.).
