Qualcomm introduces Snapdragon Developer Kit for Windows with Snapdragon X Elite


At the Microsoft Build, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon Dev Kit for Windows, a compact-form-factor PC powered by Snapdragon X Elite in collaboration with Microsoft.

Specifically designed for developers creating or optimizing apps and experiences for the next generation of AI PCs, this comes just in time before Snapdragon X Series-powered laptops arrive in June.

The Snapdragon Dev Kit empowers developers to optimize Windows applications for Snapdragon processors. With familiar tools like Visual Studio and VSCode, developers can easily recompile their apps directly on the Dev Kit.

This ensures the best possible experience for PC users by taking advantage of the native Windows on Snapdragon toolchain. The Dev Kit itself boasts a special, high-performance Snapdragon X Elite chip and plenty of ports, making it ideal for developers who use multiple monitors.

Pricing and availability

The Snapdragon Dev Kit for Windows is available for pre-order, priced at USD 899.99 (Rs. 74,960 approx.), with retail availability on June 18th.
