Qatar Airways has announced that it will introduce Starlink’s Wi-Fi on three of its Boeing 777-300 aircraft by the last quarter of this year.

This move is part of the initial phase of its plan to enhance the passenger experience onboard. The airline aims to expand this technology to its entire modern fleet within the next two years.
Qatar Airways, in its commitment to improve the onboard experience, has integrated Starlink’s Wi-Fi technology, enabling passengers to access high-speed internet of up to 500 megabits per second per plane for services like video streaming, online gaming, and web browsing, all with a single click.
During the Aircraft Interior Expo in Hamburg, Germany, Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, and Mike Nicolls, Vice President of Starlink Engineering at SpaceX, revealed the partnership between Qatar Airways and SpaceX’s Starlink.
This collaboration with Starlink, the world’s largest satellite internet constellation by SpaceX, makes Qatar Airways the first airline in the MENA region to offer such a service. It represents a significant milestone for the airline, enhancing its onboard experience for passengers.
