Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest lineup today, featuring the 2024 Odyssey OLED gaming monitor, Smart Monitor, and ViewFinity monitor series.
Odyssey OLED Series (2024)
The 2024 Odyssey OLED lineup introduces the Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD model) and Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD model).
The G8 boasts a 32″ flat OLED display with 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 16:9 aspect ratio, along with a 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time. On the other hand, the G6 features a 27″ QHD display (2560 x 1440) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 360Hz refresh rate.
Both models incorporate Samsung OLED Safeguard+ technology to prevent burn-in, using a pulsating heat pipe and Dynamic Cooling System to dissipate heat and automatically adjust brightness to avoid static image retention.
Powered by the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, the new Odyssey OLED G8 upscales content to nearly 4K for enhanced resolution in gaming and entertainment via Samsung Gaming Hub and Smart TV apps.
With a brightness of 250 nits (Typ.) and FreeSync Premium Pro technology, these monitors provide exceptional OLED picture quality and smooth gameplay.
Samsung’s OLED Glare Free technology reduces reflections for an immersive viewing experience, complemented by a slim metal design, Core Lighting+ for ambient lighting sync, and an ergonomic stand for comfortable adjustments.

Smart Monitor M8 (2024)
The Smart Monitor M8 (2024) combines various device functions into one hub for enhanced entertainment and productivity. The updated lineup includes the M8 (M80D model), M7 (M70D model), and M5 (M50D model).
The 32” 4K UHD Smart Monitor M8 is upgraded with AI features powered by the NQM AI processor, enhancing lower resolution content to nearly 4K and adjusting dialogue based on surrounding noise with Active Voice Amplifier Pro.
Furthermore, 360 Audio Mode and a SlimFit Camera for video calls via Samsung Dex, the M8 enhances the user experience. Additionally, all Smart Monitors now feature a Workout Tracker, syncing with Galaxy Watch for real-time health data during content streaming.
The M7 offers 4K UHD resolution in 32” and 43” sizes, while the M5 is available in 27” and 32” with FHD resolution, both boasting 300 nits and 250 nits brightness, respectively, with a 4ms response time.

ViewFinity Series (2024)
Samsung’s latest ViewFinity lineup, optimized for creatives and professionals, includes the ViewFinity S8 (S80UD and S80D models), ViewFinity S7 (S70D model), and ViewFinity S6 (S60UD and S60D models).
Designed with responsible practices, these monitors incorporate at least 10% recycled plastic and avoid chemical sprays on plastic components, contributing to recycling efforts.
Assembly is hassle-free with the Easy Setup Stand, requiring just one quick click, no tools or screws needed, ensuring a swift setup to enjoy the vibrant display.
Each 2024 ViewFinity monitor supports HDR10, displaying a billion colors accurately, and integrates TÜV-Rheinland-certified Intelligent Eye Care features to alleviate eye strain during prolonged work periods.
The ViewFinity S8 offers 27″ and 32″ screen sizes with 4K UHD resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 350 nits brightness. They come with a USB hub for connectivity and a height-adjustable stand. The S80UD model adds a KVM switch for easy device switching and a USB-C port supporting up to 90W charging.
The ViewFinity S7 is available in 27″ and 32″ options, featuring UHD 4K resolution, 350 nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. For the ViewFinity S6, choose from 24″, 27″, or 32″ sizes with QHD resolution, a 100Hz refresh rate, and 350 nits brightness.
They include a USB hub and a height-adjustable stand. The S60UD model offers a built-in KVM switch and a USB-C port with up to 90W charging capability.
