ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GA605 with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU and RTX 4070 GPU announced

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched the Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA605, a slim and lightweight gaming laptop with a CNC-milled aluminum body and a customizable Slash Lighting array on the lid.

It features a 16:10 ROG Nebula OLED display with 2.5K resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

Powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370 processor with 12 cores, 24 threads, and an AMD Ryzen AI XDNA 2 NPU delivering 50 TOPS of AI performance, plus 31 TOPS from the CPU and integrated Radeon 890M graphics, the Zephyrus G16 enhances productivity in AI-enabled applications, including Windows Copilot tools, with a dedicated key.

The 2024 Zephyrus G16 features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, delivering up to 321 TOPS of AI performance at a 105-watt TGP, making tasks like photo and video editing, image generation, and coding easier.

It supports DLSS 3 for enhanced game image quality and offers 402 TOPS of AI processing power for running multiple AI applications simultaneously.

The laptop is cooled by ROG Intelligent Cooling with liquid metal on the CPU and a fiber-and-mesh heat-pipe system with a tri-fan design using second-generation Arc Flow Fans. It has 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and supports SD Express 7.0 for fast SD card performance.

Other notable features include WiFi 7 (the first ROG laptop to support it), Bluetooth v5.4, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, and Two-way AI noise cancellation. The laptop runs on Windows 11 Pro.
