Redmi 13 with 6.79″ FHD+ 90Hz display, 108MP camera, 5030mAh battery announced

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 13, the company’s latest 4G smartphone, as the successor to last year’s Redmi 12. The phone packs a 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, and gets an upgraded 13MP front-facing camera inside the punch hole.

This replaces the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC with the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra, and also gets a new 108MP rear camera with Samsung ISOCELL HM6 1/1.67″ sensor and 9-in-1 pixel binning technology that promises clear images.

The Redmi 13 has an 8.3mm sleek glass back design and comes in Midnight Black, Sandy Gold, Pearl Pink, and Ocean Blue colours. There is IP53 dust and splash resistance.

The phone packs a 5030mAh battery and 33W fast charging, up from 18W in the Redmi 12, so it can charge the phone fully in 62 minutes, according to the company.

The Redmi 13 is priced starting at USD 179 (Rs. 14,940 approx.) / 169.99 Euros (Rs. 15,430 approx.) for the 6GB+128GB version, and also comes in 8GB+128GB version and there is also a 8GB+256GB version priced at 189.99 Euros (Rs. 17,250 approx.).

It has already started rolling out in Europe and will roll out in Indonesia starting today, June 5th.
