After several rumours, Nothing has officially confirmed that it will launch the CMF Phone 1 as the first smartphone under the CMF sub-brand soon. The teaser shows a dial similar to the one in the CMF Neckband Pro, and hints at leather finish.

The company said that the phone will leverage Nothing’s innovation and meticulous attention to design, and said that it will serve as a wonderful entry point to its entire product ecosystem.

“As others overlook this category, we’re giving it our full attention,” the company added.

Based on earlier rumours, the phone will pack a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor, 16MP front-facing camera, will be MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, similar to the one in the Nothing Phone (2a).

The phone is said to pack 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the possibility to expand memory via a MicroSD card and a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, compared to the 45W charging support in the Phone (2a).

The phone is not expected to come with a Glyph interface, but a replaceable plastic back cover and a Nothing Lock for exclusive add-ons. This was already teased by the company.

Based on earlier rumours, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to start at USD 249 (Rs. 20,785 approx.) for the 128GB model and USD 279 (Rs. 23,290 approx.) for the 256GB model. It is expected to launch in July 2024.
