HTC has confirmed the launch of a new phone on June 12th, after rumours and teaser. Along with the launch date, the teaser shows the side profile of the phone that shows the power button, volume rockers and the camera module.
Based on earlier rumours, the company is expected to introduce the U24 and U24 Pro smartphones as the successor to last year’s U23 series.
The HTC phone model number 2QDA100 recently surfaced in Geekbench listing, revealing Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB of RAM and Android 14. It also showed up in the Google Play Console database that revealed FHD+ (1080 × 2436 pixels) along with other details that were already revealed in the benchmark listing.
The company introduced the U23 and U23 Pro last year with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, so 7 Gen 3 should be a good upgrade. We can IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance in the U24 series from the predecessor.
Launch time?
HTC has confirmed that the phone will be introduced on June 12th at 8AM Taiwan time (5:30 AM IST), so we should know all the details about the phone next Wednesday.
