Disney+ Hotstar has announced that it will be the first streaming platform to broadcast live sports in Dolby Vision in India, and the first globally to do so for cricket.

For the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, all India matches, Super 8s, semi-finals, and the final will be streamed live in Dolby Vision on Disney+ Hotstar.
Only Premium subscribers can enjoy the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in Dolby Vision on Disney+ Hotstar. Cricket fans will experience the game with lifelike colors, sharp contrast, and rich details, capturing every thrilling moment.
Streaming in Dolby Vision will be possible only on select 4K-enabled Smart TVs that support Dolby Vision, ensuring the best possible experience for viewers with compatible technology.
Disney+ Hotstar continues to enhance entertainment experiences by introducing Dolby Vision for live cricket streaming, following their previous innovations like vertical mode and data-saving streaming for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Dolby Vision feature for live sports streaming is accessible on Disney+ Hotstar for Premium subscribers with compatible 4K Smart TVs.
The premium plan starts at Rs. 499 for 3 months, offering ad-free content (except sports), support for up to 4 devices, up to 4K 2160p + Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos.
