HMD Skyline, Atlas and Ridge renders, specs surface ahead of launch

HMD Global, known for Nokia smartphones, plans to revive the Nokia Lumia 920’s iconic design with the HMD Skyline, following the success of the classic Nokia 3210 revival.

HMD Skyline Specifications (Rumored)

Reportedly by nokiamob.net, the HMD Skyline (codenamed Tomcat) might feature an FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display with PureDisplay HDR10+. It’s rumored to run on Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

The phone may sport a triple-camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and possibly a 2MP macro or depth sensor. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is expected.

The smartphone might house a 4900mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, along with NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and IP67 dust and water resistance.

Pricing speculations suggest EUR 400 (USD 429 or Rs. 35,917 approx.) for 8/256GB and EUR 440 (USD 472 or Rs. 39,508 approx.) for 12/256GB variants.

Other Devices in the Pipeline

According to the tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60), apart from the HMD Skyline, two other devices are anticipated from HMD Global: HMD Atlas and HMD Ridge.

HMD Atlas

HMD Atlas is rumored to feature a FullHD+ 6.64″ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s expected to run on Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable).

The phone might support 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and retain a 3.5mm headphone jack. Camera-wise, it may offer a 48MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a depth sensor. It could be priced around USD 240 (Rs. 20,054 approx.).

HMD Ridge

HMD Ridge is speculated to sport a 6.64″ FHD+ 90Hz display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC, it might have a 50MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

Storage options could range from 128GB to 256GB with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM, supported by a 5000mAh battery.

Expect More from HMD

According to the tipster, HMD has more devices on the way, including HMD Waylay and HMD Xenon.

Launch details and pricing are expected closer to the global launch in July.
