Samsung has launched its new Galaxy Watch FE, an entry-level smartwatch aimed at providing an affordable alternative to its flagship models.
The Galaxy Watch FE features a 40mm aluminum case with Sapphire Crystal glass for enhanced durability, protecting against scratches. It has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED, Full Colour Always On Display, with customizable watch faces.
Powered by a Dual Core Exynos W920 (1.18GHz) processor, it includes 1.5GB of memory and 16GB of internal storage. The smartwatch is equipped with a 247mAh battery supporting WPC-based wireless charging.
The Galaxy Watch FE features LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo connectivity, along with various sensors including the Samsung BioActive Sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor.
It supports 100 workouts, advanced running analysis, personalized heart rate zones, body composition analysis, advanced sleep tracking, sleep pattern monitoring, sleep coaching, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification, blood pressure measurement, and ECG.
The Galaxy Watch FE integrates with Samsung Galaxy devices, offering features like Find My Phone, camera control, and Samsung Wallet.
It is dust and water-resistant (IP68), suitable for diving (5ATM rating), and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards. The watch runs on Wear OS with Samsung’s One UI 5 Watch.

Pricing and availability
The Bluetooth version of the Galaxy Watch FE is priced at GBP 199 / EUR 219 (USD 235 or Rs. 19,650 approx.). It is available in three colors: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver, with new watch bands featuring blue and orange stitching.
The watch will be available for purchase on samsung.com and select UK channels starting June 21, 2024, and will be available worldwide later in the summer.
