HMD Ridge Pro detailed specs surface ahead of launch

HMD appears to be gearing up for a new release based on recent leaks from tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60), who has access to pre-sales promotional materials.

The upcoming device, tentatively named HMD Ridge Pro, follows earlier leaks about the HMD Ridge.

According to him, the Ridge Pro is rumored to feature a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 800 nits. Internally, it might be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC built on a 4nm process.

In terms of cameras, expect a versatile setup including a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, a 50MP front camera is anticipated.

The Ridge Pro is likely to be available in two configurations: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD.

It could pack a 5500mAh battery and support 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It may also have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and is expected to run on Android 14, offered in Mocha, Snow, and Glacier Green colors.

Official details like pricing and launch specifics are yet to be confirmed, but based on its specs, the Ridge Pro could be competitive in the budget segment.

More information, including launch details, is expected closer to the global release in July.
