vivo has introduced V40 5G and V40 Lite 5G, the company’s new smartphones in the V40 series, in Europe celebrating the first match of the UEFA EURO 2024 Championship in Germany.
The V40 5G packs a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, local peak brightness of 4500 nits and has Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with 12GB of RAM.
It has a 50MP main camera with OIS, 50MP UW and a 50MP front camera, ZEISS optics, Aura light with smart lighting temperature adjustment, IP68 ratings, and packs a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The phone has vivo’s exclusive Negative Electrode Graphite Reconstruction Technology, delivering real life flagship-level performance through a perfect balance of rapid charging and high energy density, said the company.

The vivo V40 Lite 5G comes in Classy Brown or Dreamy White colours, is priced at 399 Euros (USD 427 / Rs. 35,735 approx.) and is already rolling out in several European countries.
