After teasers, Nothing has confirmed the launch of CMF Phone 1, the first phone under the CMF by Nothing sub-brand, will launch globally, including India on July 8th.
The company will also launch the CMF Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds and the CMF Watch Pro 2 smartwatch alongside as successors to their first generation models which were launched last year. This time it is not launching any new charger as sucessor to its Power 65W GaN Charger.
The latest teaser of the CMF Phone 1 still shows a lock, likely for a replaceable back cover. Based on latest reports, it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which was introduced recently. This is not the successor to the Dimensity 7200, but a successor to the Dimensity 7050, so it should offer almost similar performance as the Snapdragon 778G+ used in the Nothing Phone (1).
Based on earlier rumours, the phone will pack a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor, 16MP front-facing camera, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the possibility to expand memory via a microSD card and a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
We still don’t have any details for the CMF Buds Pro 2 and the Watch Pro 2, but the teaser shows a Smart Dial, similar to the one we had seen in the CMF Neckband Pro. The teaser for the watch doesn’t give any details except for the round dial.
We should know more details in the coming weeks. The launch event on July 8th is set for 10AM BST (2:30PM IST).
