motorola has started teasing the launch of its next razr series smartphones on June 25th. This should be the razr 50 and razr 50 ultra, successors to the razr 40 series. Like last year, these should launch in the US market as the razr and razr+ 2024.
The teaser shows the phone in black and orange colours with a metal frame, but there are more colours in the teaser. It also shows vegan leather finish on the back.
Based on earlier rumours, the razr 50 will feature a larger 3.63″ pOLED outer screen, 6.9″ FHD+ 120Hz inner pOLED screen, 50MP + 13MP dual rear, and a 13MP front camera. This is said to get a new MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G SoC, Android 14 OS, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 4200mAh battery, and weigh 188g.
The razr 50 Ultra is said to feature a 4″ pOLED outer screen, 6.9″ FHD+ 165Hz inner display, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 50MP wide-angle, 50MP 2x telephoto lenses, along with a 32MP front camera.
It is said to pack a 4000mAh battery, wireless charging, and IPX8 water resistance.
