Lenovo India today announced that its new gaming device, the Legion Go, will launch next week. This follows its debut at IFA 2023 last year and marks Lenovo’s first Windows gaming handheld device.
The Legion Go features an 8.8-inch QHD+ screen supporting resolutions from 1600p to 800p, with refresh rates of 144Hz and 60Hz.
It is equipped with an AMD Z1 Extreme APU, 16GB LPDDR5X 7500MHz RAM, and up to 1TB of NVMe M.2 2242 PCIe Gen 4 SSD. There’s also a UHS-II microSD card slot for up to 2TB of additional storage.
Additional features of the Lenovo Legion Go include Coldfront thermal technology with a quiet 79-blade fan and customizable modes, hall effect joysticks for precise control, and detachable TrueStrike controllers for FPS mode.
It integrates Legion Space for easy game access and settings adjustments, with connectivity options such as dual USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 49.2Wh battery supporting Super Rapid Charge for quick recharging.
Launch Date and Expected Pricing
The Lenovo Legion Go will launch on June 27, 2024. Pricing details for India have not been announced yet, but globally, it starts at 799 Euros (USD 866 / Rs. 72,258 approx.), suggesting a similar price to the ROG Ally, which launched in India for Rs. 69,990.
