Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 with AirPods-like design surface

Samsung is preparing to launch new Galaxy Buds, and the first images of these new earbuds have surfaced, showing the Galaxy Buds 3 with a design that resembles AirPods and a similar case.

Tipster @TEQHNIKACROSS on X (formerly Twitter) shared what appear to be official product images of the Galaxy Buds 3 found on Coupang, a South Korean e-commerce site.

The user posted two images showing the case for the Galaxy Buds 3, which now features a rectangular shape with a transparent lid, differing from the squarish design of previous generations.

The earbuds have stems that fit into a horizontally opening case. They feature a wider section and rectangular stem, looking different from AirPods or OnePlus Buds Pro 2, but almost identical to Apple’s AirPods Pro, with a similar case size, different colors, and a transparent lid.

Regarding technical specs, reports suggest the Galaxy Buds 3 will have a single driver, Active Noise Cancellation, and an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, alongside an expected 24-hour battery life.

The official launch is anticipated at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event early next month, reportedly scheduled for July 10 in Paris, where they are expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Ring.
