Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could get a new 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP 3x telephoto camera


We still have a few more months for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. A recent report revealed that the entire Galaxy S25 series will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Now a tipster has revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will finally an improved ultra-wide and 3x telephoto cameras.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to retain the 200MP sensor for the main camera, and 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera, but switch from 12MP ultra-wide it has been using for long to a 50MP ultra-wide camera. This is said to use a 1/2.76″ JN1 sensor.

The phone is also said to get a new 50MP 3x optical zoom compared to 10MP in the S24 Ultra. This is said to get a 1/3″ Samsung ISOCELL sensor, but the exact camera details are not available yet.

These are major upgrades for the S25 Ultra, even though the S25 and S25+ are expected to retain a 50MP main and a 12MP ultra-wide cameras, and we will have to wait for more details in the coming months.
