New OnePlus Watch 2 with 1.43″ AMOLED display, Dual chips, eSIM support announced

OnePlus has introduced a new OnePlus Watch 2 model in China. This has a slightly different aluminium alloy case design compared to the model with a stainless steel model which was launched in India and global markets earlier this year.

Most specifications are similar to it including a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with up to 1000 nits peak brightness, 32GB of standalone storage, 5ATM + IP68 water and dust resistance, over 100 sports mode, dual-band GPS, Snapdragon W5 chip + BES chip, and a 500mAh battery with VOOC fast charging.

One of the main changes is that this has eSIM support for standalone calling, in addition to Bluetooth calling, and has support for both Android and iOS devices since this runs ColorOS for watch instead of Wear OS. This also has NFC support.
