HONOR Magic V3, Magic Vs3, MagicPad 2 and MagicBook Art 14 to be announced on July 12

HONOR today announced its HONOR Magic flagship product launch event in China on July 12th where it will introduce the HONOR Magic V3 and HONOR Magic Vs3 foldable phones, HONOR MagicPad 2 tablet (12.3″) and the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Notebook.

Last week, HONOR unveiled AI defocus eye protection technology to address the rise in near-sightedness from prolonged screen use. This will debut in the MagicPad 2 tablet.

This technology uses AI to mimic defocus glasses on the device’s display, which helps maintain clear central vision by inducing controlled defocus in the peripheral visual field. It can slow the eye elongation process, reducing the risk of near-sightedness, according to the company.

At the MWC 2024 Shanghai World Mobile Communications Conference, Zhao Ming, Head of HONOR Business, said that the HONOR Magic V3 foldable screen mobile phone will challenge the “new height of thinness and lightness of foldable screens.”

Last year’s HONOR Magic V2 is just 9.9mm when folded and 4.7mm when unfolded, and the Magic V3 should be thinner than that. Based on earlier reports, the phone should pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, support 5.5G network, satellite calling and 66W fast charging and a battery bigger than 5000mAh in the predecessor.
