Update: realme has confirmed 1.5K 8T LTPO BOE S1 flat screen, 6000 nits peak brightness; Crystal Armor Glass, drop resistance that is increased by 160%, and scratch resistance increased by 300%.

The phone will pack a 5800mAh silicon-carbon negative electrode battery from CATL, support for 120W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 12 minutes and supports UFCS/PPS multi-fast charging protocols.

After teasers, realme has confirmed the launch of realme GT 6, the company’s next flagship smartphone in China on July 9th. This is slightly different from the version which was launched in India and the global markets last month.

The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen SoC, and will feature a metal frame. The phone will come with Sky Communication System, and the company has also confirmed a flat screen with up to 6000 nits peak brightness.

We can expect it to retain a 6.78-inch 1.5K 0.5-120Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED screen from BOE. The teaser image shows dual rear cameras, so it is said to feature a 50MP main camera and an ultra-wide camera, but lack the telephoto camera which was present in the global / Indian version of the GT 6.

The phone is expected to retain glass body, get 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, silicon negative battery and NEXT AI integration for the first time in China.
