HONOR 200 Series is set to launch in India after its global release last month.
The series features the new MagicOS 8.0, the first Intent-Based UI. This system is designed for a unique AI-driven experience, using HONOR’s MagicLM AI large language model.

HONOR’s MagicOS 8.0 features a 4-layer AI structure. The base layer supports cross-device and cross-OS AI for shared computing power and services.
The platform-level AI layer offers a personalized system for human-computer interaction. The third layer enhances apps with AI. The top layer connects to cloud AI services, ensuring privacy while providing access to various cloud services.
Key Features of MagicOS 8.0
MagicLM AI: MagicLM, HONOR’s on-device AI language model, enhances natural language understanding for better user interactions. It uses a seven-billion-parameter structure within the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 to boost personalization and security while keeping data local for privacy.
Magic Portal: Magic Portal understands messages and directs you to relevant apps, making tasks easier with a single gesture. It also introduces AI Smart Folders and AI Blur for better usability and privacy, making app access faster and securing sensitive screenshot information.
MagicRing: MagicRing simplifies multitasking across devices with a swipe, supporting up to 8 concurrent services such as network sharing, screen sharing, keyboard and mouse sharing, camera sharing, window sharing, file sharing, call sharing, and notification sharing.
Magic Anywhere Door: This feature allows simple drag-and-drop file transfers. Users can long-press and drag text, pictures, files, and videos for quick storage, enhancing efficiency. The 3-Finger Swipe feature enables global searches across devices.
Magic Capsule: This interface provides quick access to essential functions like calls and alarms. It also keeps you updated on notifications like timers and order statuses.
Magic Lock Screen: This feature offers a full-screen Always-on Display for personalized lock screen customization. It includes Parallel Spaces for added security with isolated contacts and information.
Update and Availability
MagicOS 8.0 is already available for HONOR 90 users and will be available for HONOR X9b users this month.
Launch Details
The HONOR 200 Pro, with model number ELP-NX9, was recently listed on the BIS website, confirming its upcoming launch in India.
The HONOR 200 Series and new earbuds are expected to be released exclusively on Amazon.in, with the product page live and a potential launch during the Prime Day Sale starting on July 20.
