Update: Redmi has revealed the first images of the new Ice Glass colour of the Redmi K70 Ultra that shows the camera Deco revealing a 50MP main camera with OIS.
The phone has a metal middle frame and a four-curved deep glass back cover.
Redmi has confirmed 1.5K AMOLED screen with minimal bezels, 120 fps gaming, Dimensity 9300+ SoC with 3D Ice Cooling. The strongest heat dissipation design in Xiaomi’s history, ‘Ice Circulation Cold Pump’ innovative concave and convex platform design reduces SoC core temperature by 3°C, says the company. The phone has scored 2.38 million points on AnTuTu, according to its tests.
Earlier: After rumours and teasers, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmi K70 Ultra / Extreme Edition will launch in China this July. The company said that it will be Redmi’s most perfect work so far, and its gaming experience will challenge three firsts: Performance score, best frame rate/energy efficiency and Original self-developed super-frame super-resolution.
Redmi already confirmed that the phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip and will use the C8+ luminous material jointly developed by Xiaomi and TCL. Its luminous efficiency reaches the “strongest level in the industry” and the pixel life is increased by more than 100%, according to the company.
Redmi Brand’s General Manager Wang Teng Thomas has confirmed that the Redmi K70 Ultra will be the first to launch this “new generation 1.5K flagship straight screen”, which can achieve “the best dark light eye protection in the industry”. In addition to the upgraded display, the screen border size of the phone has also been further optimized, he added.
Based on rumours, the Redmi K70 Ultra has AnTuTu score of over 2.22 million, and the Geekbench 6 single-core score of 2295 and 7647 multi-core benchmark score, and 16GB of RAM surfaced recently.
Based on earlier reports, the phone is said to pack a 1.5K+144Hz display, metal frame, glass back, 50MP 1/ 1.55″ Light Fusion 800 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP camera, IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance, In-display fingerprint sensor, Infrared sensor, and a large 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 is expected to be launch alongside the Redmi K70 Ultra later this July.
