motorola has launched the g85 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone and the successor to last year’s moto g84 in India, as it had promised.
The phone packs a 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz pOLED display, is powered by the latest Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and has 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide camera with macro option. It runs Android 14 and the company promises 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates.
There is a 32MP front camera. The back cover has technological nano-leather, with optional Pantone color matching, and endless edge design. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging and comes with a 33W TurboPower charger in the box.

The moto g85 5G comes in Olive Green, Cobalt Blue and Urban Grey colours and is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and the 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 19,999.
The phone will be available from Flipkart, motorola.in and offline stores starting from July 16th. With Rs. 1000 discount with Axis bank cards, the effective price of the phone will be Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 18,999 respectively.
