HONOR has introduced MagicPad 2, the company’s flagship tablet in China, along with the HONOR Magic V3 series, after teasers. It features a large 12.3″ 3K OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate with thinner bezels contributing to the larger screen-to-body ratio of 92%.
Interestingly, the tablet’s display is equipped with HONOR’s own Oasis AI defocus eye protection technology that adopts industry-leading UHF 4320Hz PWM dimming coupled with AI to offer viewers vision soothing, natural light-like eye protection and address the rise in near-sightedness from prolonged screen use
The MagicPad 2 configuration goes up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 4nm flagship processor, 8 speaker system with spatial audio support, and has a large, 10050mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It also pairs with accessories like MagicPencil 3 offers 2ms low-latency input and MagicPad 2 Bluetooth keyboard for a PC-like experience.
When it comes to software, it features MagicOS 8.0 with many AI capabilities, such as MagicLM AI that summarizes and translates meetings, identifies handwritten formulas, MagicRing for cross-device multitasking, Magic Portal that understands messages and directs you to relevant apps, and more.
