Sennheiser has announced the launch of its MOMENTUM Sport earbuds in India, expanding its MOMENTUM series.
These earbuds offer advanced workout tracking with in-ear sensors that monitor heart rate and body temperature in real-time, enabling users to optimize their training and track progress accurately.
Key features include:
- 10mm Transducer for vivid sound and impressive bass
- Acoustic Relief Channel to reduce occlusion effect and minimize distractions like footstep noise
- Semi-Open Design for natural environmental awareness
- Multiple Modes including Transparency, Anti-wind, and Adaptive Noise Cancelling modes
- Bluetooth 5.2 support for aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs
The earbuds integrate a PPG heart rate sensor and a body temperature sensor, providing critical data to fitness apps and devices with +/- 0.3 degrees Celsius accuracy and a heart rate detection range of 30 to 220 bpm.
The earbuds feature integrated three-axis accelerometers, capacitive touch, and infrared sensors to handle audio playback and calls.
Heart rate data seamlessly connects with Apple Watch/Health, Garmin Watch/Connect, Strava, and Polar Flow, offering performance tracking, training analytics, smart coaching, and voice guidance. The earbuds also connect with the Polar Vantage V3 multisport watch for real-time data streaming.
The earbuds feature interchangeable ear fins and tips for a secure fit, with an IP54-rated case providing up to 24 hours of playback. They offer 6 hours of playback on one charge and quick charge capability for 1 hour of playback in just 10 minutes.
Control is easy via the Sennheiser Smart Control App or simple tap gestures, and they’re designed for durability with IP55 sweat and water resistance, a shock-proof chassis, and clog-resistant ear tips.
