After rumours and teasers, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of MIX Fold 4, the company’s next foldable phone in China on July 19th. The company has also shared the official image of the phone in blue color, and said it a “fully equipped flagship.”
It shows a thin and light body. Even thought the body is blue, the camera module is black, and has a rounded shape. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 adopts an inward folding screen. The image also shows a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is expected to feature IPX8 water-resistant ratings.
The phone will feature a Leica Summilux lens for the first time. Based on earlier rumours, it will feature a 50-megapixel OV50E 1/1.55″ main camera, 13MP OV13B 1/3.06″ ultra-wide-angle camera, 60MP OV60A 1/2.8″ 2x portrait camera and a 10MP S5K3K1 1/3.94″ 5x periscope telephoto lens camera. There will be a 16MP OV16F front camera.
The phone is said to feature a 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging and wireless charging. Benchmarks already revealed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for the phone.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun Annual Speech will also be there at the launch event. We should know more details in the coming days, before the phone goes official later this week.
