Apple HomePod mini gets a new midnight color variant

Apple introduced the HomePod Mini in white and space grey colours back in 2020. Later in 2021, the company introduced the smart home speaker in Blue, Yellow and Orange colours. Now it has introduced the HomePod mini in midnight color.

This looks similar to the space grey colour variant which was launched four years back. For the new colour, the change will be visible across the exterior elements. This includes tinted touch surface, mesh fabric, volume icons, and woven power cable that are all colour matched.

Internally, the HomePod mini remains unchanged. It features the same Apple S5 chip for computational audio, a full-range driver, a total of 4 microphones for ‘Hey Siri’ support, along with a range of smart functionalities.

Pricing and availability

The Apple HomePod mini in midnight color costs Rs. 10,900 (After the price hike in January 2023 from the original price of Rs. 9900), is available to order from Apple online store, Apple Store and Apple Authorised Resellers and will be available starting July 17th in the U.S., Canada, China mainland, Singapore, and 28 other countries and regions including India.
