After the details about the design and the battery that surfaced recently, the camera specifications of the Pixel 9 series have surfaced, thanks to Android Authority.
This reveals that the Pixel 9 series will use a 50MP Samsung GNK sensor for the main camera, compared to GN2 is the Pixel 8 series.
The Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold are said to retain the same 11 MP Samsung 3J1 sensor camera from the Pixel 8 series, but the there is a major upgrade when it comes to the Pixel 9 Pro and the 9 Pro XL since the phones are said to feature three 50MP rear cameras and a new 50MP front camera.

The Pixel phones powered by Google Tensor G4 are expected to get 8K video recording for the first time. Even though the SoC and the Samsung GNK support 8K recording, Google could restrict it to the Pixel 9 Pro series.
The Google Pixel 9 series will be introduced on August 13th.
