Today, Instagram introduced a new multi-audio track feature on Reels. The new feature lets you add multiple audio tracks on a reel without relying on third-party apps to mix multiple audio tracks.
Off late, creators mostly remix multiple songs and use them for trending reel videos. With the latest update, users can now add up to 20 tracks to a single reel and visually align audio with elements like text, stickers, and clips while editing in the app.
You can access this feature in Instagram’s native reel editor, which appears as “Add to Mix.” Once done, that particular track will be attributed to the creator, allowing others to save and reuse the mixed track, thereby offering a wider reach.
Availability
The feature is available worldwide, including in India, starting today.
Regarding the matter, Instagram’s Head, Adam Mosseri, said,
Starting today you can add up to 20 audio tracks to a single reel, giving you more creative freedom with your content. You can align your audio with text, stickers and clips while editing it within Instagram. When you do this, you’ll also create your own unique audio mix that fans can save and reuse.
