Sony India has announced the launch of its BRAVIA 3 series televisions in India, following the launch of the BRAVIA 7 series earlier this month.
The BRAVIA 3 series is available in sizes from 108 cm (43 inches) to 215 cm (85 inches). The series features a sleek design with a slim stand, a smart remote with six hot keys, and an Eco Remote made from about 80% recycled plastic, along with an Eco Dashboard for energy efficiency and reduced plastic use.
It features the 4K HDR Processor X1, which uses advanced algorithms to upscale non-4K content to near-4K resolution with 4K X-Reality PRO. The TVs include TRILUMINOS Pro for enhanced color accuracy, Dynamic Contrast Enhancer for better contrast, Object-Based HDR Remaster for lifelike images, and Super Bit Mapping to minimize color banding.
The TRILUMINOS Pro display offers vibrant colors and natural hues, while Motionflow XR ensures smooth motion by increasing image display rates and reducing blur. The BRAVIA 3 series supports Dolby Atmos for immersive sound and Dolby Vision for enhanced visuals with striking highlights and deeper darks.
It features X-Balanced Speakers with Dual Bass Reflex for high-quality audio without compromising the TV’s slim design. The series provides access to over 400,000 movies and TV episodes, 10,000 apps and games, and includes a user-friendly interface with “Tab Structure” and “Personalization” options.
The Google Kids’ Profile offers child-friendly controls, and Google Assistant Hands-Free Voice Search allows voice control without a remote. It also includes SONY PICTURES CORE for movie streaming, Pure Stream for HDR content at up to 80 Mbps, and comes with movie credits for up to 5 movies and 12 months of access to up to 100 curated movies.
The BRAVIA 3 series supports HDMI 2.1 for smooth gaming with features like Dolby Vision, Auto HDR Tone Mapping, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). The Game Menu offers easy access to settings and features like Crosshair and Black Equalizer.
The TVs also include Ambient Optimization, Light Sensor, and Acoustic Auto Calibration for optimal picture and sound quality based on the environment. XR Protection PRO ensures durability with dust, surge, and humidity resistance.
