Amazon Prime Video gets gen-AI based recommendations and more

New Home Page

Prime Video is rolling out a new update globally intended to improve user experience and offer Gen-AI-based recommendations. With Prime Video offering more add-on subscriptions to its users, this update should help them differentiate movies and series available at no additional cost to their Prime membership and find other paid content easily.

The main highlight of the update is the improved personalized recommendations powered by generative AI. This should make it easier for users to find content relevant to each individual. Further, users can browse content by categories like “Top 10 in India”.

We’re always listening to customers and reviewing feedback, and it’s clear that many are in search of a more intuitive streaming experience. With the improvements we have made to the user experience, customers will be presented with an easy-to-navigate entertainment destination where they can discover new titles and enjoy favorites, as well as sign-up to or switch add-on subscriptions with just a few clicks.
