Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC, 12GB RAM, 50 MP front camera, metallic finish confirmed

Update: Nothing has posted the design of the Phone (2a) Plus with a new metallic finish that looks different compared to the design of the Phone (2a), but it still has the same Glyph light placements.

Update: Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (2a) Plus will feature a 50 MP front camera compared to 32MP camera in the Phone (2a) while retaining the dual 50MP rear cameras.

Earlier: After confirming the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus launch on July 31st, the company today confirmed MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC compared to Dimensity 7200 Pro in the Phone 2a.

It offers up to 3GHz clock speed, compared to 2.8GHz in the 7200, making it 10% faster, and this also has a faster Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked up to 1.3 GHz, which the company says is 30% faster than the GPU in the 7200 Pro.

The SoC supports 4K video recording across both front and rear cameras, along with HDR images and HDR10+ playback. There is Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6 support, said the company.

The phone still has 12GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. We should know more details in the coming days, before the phone goes official next Wednesday. It will be an online event that can be streamed at nothing.tech, said the company.
