realme just launched the realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ smartphones in the realme 13 series in India, as it had promised. These have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED with ultra narrow bezels and 2160Hz PWM ultra-high frequency dimming, and offer up to 2000 nits peak brightness.
The phones also feature Pro-XDR that analyzes the image content transmitted by the camera, optimizing photo effects for a complete range of brightness and dynamic range.
Both the phones are powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM with up to 12 GB of RAM expansion. The phones feature 9-layer cooling system, 4500mm² tempered VC + 9953mm² graphite.
The phones run Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 out of the box, and should get 2 Android OS updates and 3 years of security updates, similar to the previous Pro series phones.
The realme 13 Pro+ has a 50MP rear camera with Sony LYT-701 sensor with OIS for the first time. It has a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with OIS offering 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and the phone supports up to 120x SuperZoom.
The realme 13 Pro has a 50MP LYT-600 sensor with OIS, but this drops the telephoto camera which was present in the realme 12 Pro. Both the phones feature a 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera. The camera features include AI Ultra Clarity can enhance the resolution and
increase the clarity of blurry images, AI Smart Removal, AI Group Photo Enhance, and AI Audio Zoom.
The phones feature a Monet-inspired design, and come in Monet Gold and Monet Purple colors for the glass back panel edition, and in Emerald Green for the vegan leather option.
Harnessing the innovative Miracle Shining Craft, millions of shimmering particles are meticulously brushed onto high-gloss AG glass. This technique faithfully reproduces the dynamic interplay of light and shadow found in Monet’s works. From every angle, the glass exhibits mesmerizing flashes, inviting users to experience the tactile nuances reminiscent of impressionist masterpieces, said the company.
Both the phones pack a 5200mAh battery with 13 Pro+ featuring 80W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in 19 minutes and 100% in 49 minutes and the 13 Pro has 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
