Google is gearing up to launch the Pixel 9 series on the 13th of August, 2024. The series includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphones. Ahead of the launch, official promo materials for the devices surfaced online, thanks to @OnLeaks.
The Google Pixel 9 series will follow a similar design language. These feature curved edges with a glossy finish and matte finish back panel, and a pill-shaped camera island, offering a premium look. The series will come in dark grey, light grey, off-white, and pink colors.
All three models will feature Tensor G4 SoC. The Pixel 9 will feature a 6.3″ Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, 12GB RAM, a 10.5MP front camera, and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main shooter and a 48MP ultra-wide angle shooter.
The Pixel 9 Pro, on the other hand, comes in two display sizes. The Pixel 9 Pro will feature a 6.3″ screen, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL will feature a 6.8″ Full HD+, 120Hz AMOLED screen. It will feature 16GB RAM, a 42MP front camera, and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main shooter, a 48MP ultra-wide angle, and a 48MP telephoto lens. The company also promises 24-hour battery life for this device.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold should come with a 6.3″ outer screen and an 8″ inner screen with AMOLED display tech and 120Hz refresh rate on both screens. It will feature 16GB RAM, a 10MP front camera, and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP main shooter, a 10.5MP ultra-wide angle, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens.
