Samsung India has introduced its latest WindFree Air Conditioners in the Chilled Water Indoor category. These units feature Wind-Free and 360º Bladeless Technology, designed to enhance cooling comfort by avoiding direct cold drafts.
Wind-Free and 360o Bladeless Technology
The chilled water-based cassette units let users set their preferred temperature. The WindFree technology disperses cool air through 15,000 micro-air holes at a wind speed of 0.15 m/sec.
This system cools rooms quickly and operates quietly, producing just 24 dB(A) of sound, similar to a whisper—making it suitable for bedrooms, studies, and baby rooms.
Fan Coil Unit Details
These Fan Coil Units connect to a Central Chilled Water System using water pipes and valves. They circulate hot or cold water through coils to regulate large spaces’ temperature. Compatible with Samsung Air-cooled Chillers and third-party chillers, these units provide versatile cooling and heating options.
Variants Available
1 Way Cassette (2.6KW – 4.2KW): This unit is designed for quick and efficient cooling of large areas. It features an auto swing function that distributes air over a wide area.
With a slim design of just 135mm in height, it fits into ceilings with a minimum space of 155mm. Its compact and elegant design allows it to blend seamlessly with various interior styles.
4 Way Cassette (6.0KW – 10.0KW): This unit provides superior cooling performance with a large blade design that directs air precisely to targeted spots, minimizing air dispersion.
360º Chilled Water Cassette (6.0KW – 10.0KW): Featuring a circular design, this unit complements modern interiors by dispersing air uniformly in all directions without cold drafts. It expels up to 25% more air and covers a larger area due to its bladeless design.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Chilled Water Fan Coil units are available through Samsung’s registered offline partners across India, starting at Rs. 35,000 for the smallest capacity unit.
