OPPO just launched the K12x 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the K series in India, as it had promised. The phone has MIL-STD-810H certification, and has been rigorously tested in the harshest of environments and conditions, be it extreme heat, moisture, and for shock resistance. It also has IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The OPPO K12x has a 6.67-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 nits of peak brightness, features segment-first Splash Touch technology that lets users operate its touchscreen with wet hands or even if the screen is wet, said the company.
The K12x 5G comes with Android 14 and will receive two OS updates and three years of security updates. OPPO’s Trinity Engine on the K12x 5G seamlessly schedules computing resources and system memory for smooth and lag-free operation for over four years, according to the company.
It is powered by Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, has a 32MP rear camera along with a 2MP portrait camera and a 8MP camera on the front. The phone is just 7.68 mm, has matte finish around its frame promises a smooth and comfortable grip. The phone packs a 5100mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charger in the box.

The OPPO K12x comes in Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet colours and is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 15,999.
It will be available from Flipkart, OPPO India online stores and offline stores starting from August 2nd.
