HUAWEI has started teasing the nova Flip ahead of the launch of the phone in China in August This shows a small square external screen, dual rear cameras inside a square camera deco, different from the circular screen in the Pocket 2 which was introduced earlier this year.
The image shows a metal frame, and SIM slot on the bottom.
The image also shows a centred punch-hole front camera for the inner screen.
The Morse code in the teaser video posted by the company reveals the Flip name, so it should be HUAWEI nova flip, the first flip phone in the nova series. Since the phone is expected to be targeted at the youth, the price should be less than the Pocket series.
HUAWEI is expected to introduce the nova flip and several other products such as MateBook GT 14, MatePad Pro 12.2, MatePad Air 2024, Hongmeng Smart Enjoy S9 car and more at its August 6th event.
