Redmi Pad SE 4G with 8.7″ 90Hz display, 4G calling launched in India starting at Rs. 10,999


Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE 4G, the company’s latest tablet at its online event, as it had promised, after the first Redmi Pad SE was introduced earlier this year. This has an 8.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC instead of Snapdragon 680.

It has stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos and features an 8.8mm sleek design. The Redmi Pad SE 4G  has a 6650mAh battery, but only supports 10W fast charging via USB Type-C port. This has voice calling capability and also comes with a microSD expansion slot.

Pricing and availability

The Redmi Pad SE 4G comes in Forest Green, Ocean Blue and Urban Grey colours, is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model and the 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 11,999. The Remi Pad SE 4G cover that doubles up as a quick stand costs Rs. 999.

The tablet will be available from Flipkart, mi.com and Xiaomi Retail starting from August 8th.
