HONOR X60i with 6.7″ FHD+ 90Hz OLED display, Dimensity 6080, up to 12GB RAM, 5000mAh battery, IP64 ratings announced


HONOR launched a new smartphone, the HONOR X60i, as a successor to the X50i in China. The device features a lightweight design with an artistic texture on the back, weighing 172g and measuring 7.18mm thick.

It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2412×1080) 90Hz OLED display, offering a peak brightness of 2000 nits and a global excitation brightness of 1200 nits. The HONOR X60i is IP64 dust and water-resistant and has a Swiss SGS multi-scene gold label for five-star drop resistance.

The display also includes a 3240Hz PWM zero-risk dimming eye-protection screen, TÜV Rheinland Flicker-free and Risk-free Dimming Certification, and E-book mode. Powered by the Dimensity 6080 processor with Mali-G57 MC2, the device offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

It also supports virtual RAM up to 8GB. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 35W fast charging.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with up to 1080P video recording and 10X digital zoom, a 2MP depth camera, and an 8MP front camera with 1080P video recording. The camera features AI Elimination (AI Eraser) to remove unwanted objects from images.

The HONOR X60i also has an AI Virtual Proximity Sensor INNER BEAUTY from Elliptic Labs, which detects when the phone is held up to the ear during calls, turning off the display to prevent accidental touches and conserve battery life.

Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual-mic noise reduction, 5G signal enhancement, Smart capsules, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 5, and HONOR Histen Audio. It runs on HONOR MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.

The HONOR X60i is available in four colors: Coral Purple, Cloud Blue, Moon Shadow White, and Magic Night Black. Prices are as follows:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: 1399 yuan (USD 192 or Rs. 16,135 approx.)
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: 1599 yuan (USD 220 or Rs. 18,445 approx.)
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: 1799 yuan (USD 247 or Rs. 20,750 approx.)

The smartphone will be available for purchase from the brand’s official website and other partner retailers in China, starting August 2, 2024.
