Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) just upgraded its WhatsApp-based ticketing service by introducing the metro card recharge service. Now commuters can recharge their metro cards using their preferred payment methods (UPI, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, etc.) directly through WhatsApp.
The DMRC’s metro card, known as the ‘Smart Card,’ allows commuters to top-up some amount in advance, enabling them to avoid queues and get some discount. Powered by PeLocal, DMRC’s WhatsApp-based ticketing service is available across all lines in the Delhi National Capital Region, including Gurugram Rapid Metro.

- Select the preferred language – Hindi or English
- Select “Smart Card TopUp”
- Follow the link to recharge the card.
