The Nothing phone (2a) has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Since the screen has up to 1300 nits peaks brightness, it is bright when viewing HDR content, and also good for outdoors.

It is powered by a faster MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC that offers up to 3GHz clock speed, compared to 2.8GHz in the 7200, making it 10% faster, and this also has a faster Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked up to 1.3 GHz, which is 30% faster than the GPU in the 7200 Pro that is clocked at up to 1GHz. It has 3,200 mm² vapour chamber for faster heat dissipation and 12,000 mm² large cooling area.

Inside the tiny punch-hole there is a 50-megapixel camera with Samsung JN1 sensor and f/2.2 aperture, an upgrade from 32MP camera in the Phone (2a), and this also supports 4K video recording. The earpiece grill is on the top edge, which doubles as up as a secondary speaker.  It has an in-display fingerprint scanner. There is a small chin below the display.

Coming to the button placements, the power button is present on the right side and the volume rockers are on the left side. The dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill are on the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top.

It retains the 50MP main camera + 50MP ultra-wide camera from the Phone (2a).

The phone offers a metallic finish on the back that uses an innovative fusion of nano-coating, multi-layer printing techniques, proprietary ink formulations, and carefully chosen coating materials. It also comes in Black.

A process which required intricate texturing and extensive technical analysis. An exclusive shine, perfected after over 20 manufacturing methods and numerous sampling rounds, said Nothing. It has IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The phone retains the 5000mAh battery, but has support for 50W PD charging, compared to 45W in the Phone (2a), which promises a day’s power in 20 minutes of charge.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus starts at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and doesn’t have the 128GB model. It will be available from Flipkart starting from 7th August. With all the offers, the phone will be available for Rs. 24,999, says the company.
