OnePlus Ace 5 could get 6.78″ 1.5K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 6200mAh battery


OnePlus Ace 3 was introduced earlier this year in China, and the phone was launched globally as OnePlus 12R soon after. Now, the leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed the specifications of a new phone, which is said to be the OnePlus Ace 5, successor to the Ace 3, skipping the Ace 4 naming.

This is said to pack a 6.78″ 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved screen, instead of dual-curved screen design in the older Ace models, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 50MP main camera, alert slider and a huge 6200mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.

The specifications are similar to the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which was introduced in China in June. However, the Ace 5 could be cheaper. The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to be introduced sometime later this year, so the global markets including India could get the OnePlus 13R could launch in early 2025.

OnePlus is also gearing up for the OnePlus 13, which should use Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, and could be the first OnePlus phone to get IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

We can expect the OnePlus 13 and 13R launch at a global event early next year, possibly in January.
